For all Realtors who have paid REALTOR.com® for their Showcase Listing Enhancement * service, Homestore has eliminated the fee for the distribution of virtual tour links on your listings.

* Showcase Listing Enhancements is the REALTOR.com® product that REALTORS® can purchase to enhance their listings on REALTOR.com®. This new feature will be marketed as Featured Tour™.

Linking Your VisualTours to Your Listings on REALTOR.com®

Homestore operates Realtor.com, and they have a fee-per-listing service called PicturePath which is designed to enhance the visibility of your listings by linking a virtual tour to it. This fee currently is $19.95 PER TOUR for this service. We collect the fee and pass it along to Homestore as it is their policy to charge for this service only through approved virtual tour companies, rather than directly charging the Realtor who has the listing. This service is completely optional on each of your listings.

What do you get for $19.95 on your listing? When you pay for PicturePath, your listing will appear when people choose to "Display listings with virtual tours first," and the small "spinning red house" logo (below) will appear prominently near the top of your listing indicating that your listing has a virtual tour for consumers to view. According to Homestore, listings with virtual tours receive 40% more views than listings without a virtual tour. So you're gaining advertising visibility for your seller and your listing, along with pre-qualifying more buyers.

Linking Benefits

  • Your full featured VisualTour is linked to your listing on Realtor.com. Because your full featured VisualTour will be linked to REALTOR.com® , you'll gain maximum personal promotion benefits as every consumer will see your branding, photo and contact information!

  • Your contact information is now shown with your tour! This means that the person viewing your listing (and your tour) can now contact you via phone, email, pager or even be directed to your website by using the links and information displayed on your VisualTour that's linked to your listing. Make sure you have your correct contact, Email and Page Me information on your VisualTour account! This is especially important if you haven't paid to have Realtor.com include your personal contact information for all your listings in general.

  • Viewing statistics count too! Since your VisualTours will stay on the VisualTour.com servers, we can count all of the views your tours get on Realtor.com! And we include this on your Viewing Statistics page which you can view in real time and even share with your sellers. More proof for you to have for sellers of the effectiveness of your Internet marketing strategy!

  • Visibility. Your listing will appear when customers search for homes with virtual tours on REALTOR.com®, and the "spinning red house" icon will appear near the top of the listing indicating that it has a virtual tour.



  • Pay per tour. You do not have to have a REALTOR.com® Showcase Listing Enhancement service account in order to gain personal promotion benefits on REALTOR.com®. And if you just want to highlight your virtual tours on REALTOR.com® occasionally, you can use the PicturePath linking service only on those occasions.


  • Increased Distribution of your tours. Homestore's distribution network has agreements in place with many national franchise gateway sites (e.g. www.REMAX.com, www.Prudential.com), portals such as AOL.com, MSN.com, Netscape.com, Excite.com and several websites for local real estate companies, etc. This distribution network allows your tour to be automatically linked to the listing data sent to the appropriate sites on this distribution list. Important Notes
  • There is a $19.95 PER TOUR fee for each VisualTour uploaded to PicturePath. There are no refunds from Homestore to VisualTour once the tour is uploaded, and because of this, we cannot give you a refund if you're not satisfied. Homestore bills us directly for PicturePath fees and we collect them from you when you choose this option.

  • Our automated linking process dynamically verifies with REALTOR.com® whether you are a current Showcase Listing Enhancement customer. If you are recognized as a Showcase Listing Enhancement customer, then you will not be charged for the linking of your VisualTour. If you are not recognized as a Showcase Listing enhancement customer, then you will be required pay $19.95 for the linking of your VisualTour.

  • Tours loaded to listings belonging to customers without the Showcase Listings Enhancements Product will not be credited if the customer later decides to subscribe to Showcase Listings Enhancements.

  • The free linking service will only be applied to tours that are loaded after the customer subscribes to Showcase Listings Enhancements, and only to listings associated with an MLS ID tied to the Customers Showcase Listing Enhancements package.

  • Tours uploaded to Showcase Listings are part of the Showcase Listing Enhancements package. Expiration of the Showcase Listings Enhancements subscription causes all listing enhancements, including the tour, to no longer be visible on REALTOR.com®.

  • All tour links will be stored on our servers, and if at any time the Showcase subscriber decides to renew their Showcase Listings Enhancements subscription with REALTOR.com®, their tours will immediately be restored to their listings

  • Any tour or link loaded after the Showcase Listing Enhancements subscription has expired will be billed as a Non-Showcase listing at $19.95 each.

  • Your VisualTour branding must comply with the Advertising Guidelines on REALTOR.com®. See this page if you have any questions on these guidelines. Any virtual tours that do not comply with these guidelines are subject to removal from PicturePath and REALTOR.com® and no refund will be issued to you.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct MLS number and address information is included in your tour. If the MLS related data is not correct, your tour will not be linked properly to your listing. You can check the status of your link in your VisualTour.com account at any time.

  • REALTOR.com does not distribute it's PicturePath virtual tour links to your MLS. Please check your own VisualTour.com account to see if we have provided you with either automated or manual linking instructions to link and display your VisualTours on your local MLS for your listings.

  • If you change the MLS ID for your listing that has an existing PicturePath service paid for it, you are allowed to resubmit your VisualTour link via PicturePath at no additional charge, provided the property listed is still the same and the listing agent is still the same.

Edits to MLS IDs and Address Information (REALTOR.com® policies):

  • Changes to MLS IDs will only be permitted when:
    - The address from the original order matches the address of the new MLS ID you are entering.
    - The Showcase account status of the old and new MLS IDs must match. In other words, you may not change the MLS ID on a Showcase order, to an MLS ID that is a non-showcase listing.

  • Once an MLS ID and Address has been submitted on an tour linking order, our system will access the listing on REALTOR.com® and will determine the following:
    - Does the MLS ID exist on REALTOR.com®?
    - Is the MLS ID a Showcase Listing?

  • If the MLS ID does not exist on REALTOR.com®, the order cannot be distributed to REALTOR.com®.

  • Changes to Address information will no longer be allowed after a valid MLS ID has been entered and distribution to REALTOR.com® is indicated.
